SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS: Watch for another Obstruction Light to go up near the northeast end of the taxiway towards the end of the month when the ground dries up enough to allow construction. Mass Aeronautics will be repairing pavement cracks statewide (yes, that includes us) before the end of June (their fiscal year end). We plan to repaint markings in April.
EAA CHAPTER 196 will meet in Nancy’s Café Monday March 29th at 7pm. Last month, 24 pilots gathered to hear local pilot, Clyde Kessel share his extensive post 9/11 US/Canada Customs experience. We are planning on a spring group fly-out to Montreal with Clyde in the lead. Come to the meeting and help make it happen. “Don’s Bar and Grille” (a scaled down ((way down)) version of Nancy’s) will open at 5pm. All are welcome to attend these cozy/informative Chapter meetings. See you there!
